Cinder's Training

Cinder slowly walked to the center of the clearing and sat. He slowly took out his father's lute and began to fill the clearing with the soft gentile music that only a skilled lutist can muster.

*_Dawn would come into the training field. There was a different attitude about her tonight. She was walking toward Cinder ever so slowly. She was thirsty. This wasn't a normal thirst, this was a bloodthirst._*

"Hello..."

*_She was not trying to have any small talk. She was trying to make this process as easy as possible..._*

"Stop right there witch. I know how your kind are. You feed on the helpless and kill the old." Cinder spat in disgust. "cowards." Cinder began to play a song so loud and piercing it would cause extreme mental pain to those who could hear it. He also played a sub melody that would send the music flowing outdated in sting physical Forms like giant musical fists.

*_Dawn would clap her hands to her ears in disguist. Cinder's music was terrible... So she thought. But she knew exactly what would overcome this sound..._*

"You dirty little ingrate..."

*_Dawn would instantly dodge the musical fists. Then, with haste..._*

"Velo Turn..."

*_She would burst forward with so much speed, it was as if he was teleporting. Dawn was already in the face of Cinder with her katana in her hand. It was raised above her head surging with lightning chakra. As soon as she made it to Cinder, was as soon as she brought the Nodachi down upon him. Hit or miss, anything in the immediate area for 15 feet around the two would be hit by lightning. If Cinder got hit, which was about 95% likely, he would be paralyzed for a few seconds. If the paralyzation worked, then Dawn would zoom in aiming to sink her teeth into his neck._*

Fear flashed in Cinder's eyes as his hand flashed to the short sword at his side. His sword flew up to meet Dawn's blade in it's downward strike. A sharp clang filled the clearing as their two blades met. Cinder's sword shattered but it stopes her blade. Electricity flashed out and hit Cinder. His pain was incredible. The shock sent him flying backwards into a nearby tree. Cinder hit the tree hard and lay there for a second catching his breath. Cinder tried to stand but he was indeed paralyzed from the waist down. He leaned back up against the tree and grabbed his lute which had landed next to him. Cinder began to play. It was a song so beautiful it was fit for the gods and stopped all hostility. This was Cinder's final hope to stop the crazy bitch's bloodlust as he can't take another hit like that. Regardless he called upon the name of the Wind to lift him into the air and to scatter leaves all around him to hide his position as a precaution if his song didn't work.

*_Seeing as how Cinder was knocked back into a tree, Dawn would put her current plan on hold. She was now dashing at Cinder at a fast speed until she was stopped in her tracks. Seeing as how she was stuck like this and she couldn't move, she was not worried. She knew that the source of his power would run out soon._*

Seeing that his song wasn't calming her, his hope began to fall, but he saw that his song had stopped her from moving and that much was good. so he continued to play. Cinder landed in a shapeless tree covered in leaves that would continue to hide his position. Cinder began the long chant that would bind her to the ground making it impossible for her to leave it's touch. If she doesn't move soon and disrupt the binding then she would be bound, all the while he continued to play the song that had froze her in her tracks.

*_This hold that Cinder had on Dawn would cease as soon as Cinder ran out of chakra, this little charade would be over. She would be bound to the ground. But not for long..._*

Ciinder's fingers began to tremble from playing such a complicated song for so long. His fingera faltered and his song fell to pieces and died. Now that the song was through dawn was going to come at him with her usual feriosity, cinders biggest hope was to just continue to hid in his leaf shroud and wait to catch dawn off guard. He grabbed a large stick off the tree next to him and sat in wait.
