Yatsu Ōtsutsuki was born during the start of the rivalry of the Senju clan and the Uchiha clan. You see Yatsu was actually the third son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki also known as the sage of the six paths. Yatsu's brothers were gifted with sharingan and wood style (eyes and body), while Yatsu was born only one year later but only with a different mother, A hyuga woman. Therefore Yatsu was able to obtain the genetic material to awaken his rennigan and sharingan while his byuakugan was obtained at birth. Yatsu was skilled in his byakugan use and soon unlocked his first stage sharingan. But in a battle against on of his brothers he was sealed away in an ancient tortoise for 300 years. After the death of the tortoise Yatsu was released onto the world to spread his unknown ancient power to the world.
