Kyoya was born in Japan. He was a troublemaker at home and at school. Kyoya is a very smart kid. He was on the high honor roll for all 3 years of high school (he skipped a year). His extreme intelligence has helped him in many fights in his ninjutsu classes. He will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal.after high school Kyoya devoted his life to ninjutsu and focusing on his chakras. After a year and a half of full time training his sensei told him to go on a solo quest until he had the strength to fight and kill his own sensei so he could be the new sensei and take over the dojo. So in an exposition for strength and more wisdom he made his way to mylania.
