Ken's Ranking Exam

Ken would smile and nod his head in approval. He didn't even really know Shadow. Yet.

"You'll see.."

This was truly sad the boy so Blinded by Power and pride he still wasn't getting it..at least not completely. But that was to be expected shabuto didn't get it on the first try either.

{God your a stubborn Guy...haha but I guess I kinda like that about you...I'm nit telling you to sit back and run...but regardless it's something you may or may not come to understand...as for my father..once upon a time..you would have been right...you and everyone else
..but he's not that type of person anymore...he understands that truth that I told you...}

Shabuto chuckled as he lifted his palm and made a head band with the jonin symbol of the forest manifest into it. He tossed it to Ken and opened a rift. He turned away from Ken and spoke his final set of words.

{Grow Ken...grow}

With that he left.

Ken would smile as he cracked his fingers. Looking at Shabuto with abit of a sassy look, Ken would explain.

"..if I get beat, then I get beat, but I won't stop in a fight untill I do..simple as that..clinging to life is sad. Controll it with an iron fist. You of all people should know that. Your father would tell you the same. He has done that for his entire life."

Ken would seem to fall back as a Lytch cought him. He would sit.

"...if my Kage is telling me to sit back and run away from my opponent, then so be it...but ill be back to shove thoes words right back down your throat..."

( God this kid is so stubborn!! If only he could realize that he can't beat every one lol)

Shabuto never intended on killing the the shinobi he merely wanted him to understand a very important fact. He lowerd to Ken's level the energy began to dissipate. Shabuto just hunched his shoulders and gave a heavy sigh.

{The final test....was realizing a hopeless situation...during the exam you having prove that you are indeed a very strong shinobi...ability wise...but you lack true strength...you lack the ability to realize that there will always be someone stronger than yourself and that you were in over your head...each time you merely tried to overpower me instead of acknowledging that you were out matched...this rule applies to all living beings Ken}

Shabuto let out another sigh while he continued to speak.

{For instance as a genin I had to face both my father and my uncle ravage ...being a over confident I got my ass kicked...it was then that I realized that there is always someone better stronger...and that there is no shame into clinging to ones life...accept defeat and live...live and grow stronger and if your heart is set...crush those who defeated you with a greater force ...but live Ken ...live to grow.}

Shabuto was speaking to Ken not only as a leader of his village but...as a fellow shinobi who could relate. Ken was strong that was evident but...he still had some growing to do.

He hoped he got the message through to Ken. The truly strong realize thier power is not absolute no matter how great thier skill.

Ken would immerge from the ground and simply wait for the attack. He didn't give a fuck if a corrupt Kage wanted to end him for being persastant. Ken wasn't the kind of kid to back down to anyone. Ken loved to be sarcastic.

"..do it...I wonder how your father will react when he finds out you eliminated your only village member for being persastant in a fight..."

Shabuto merely shook his head on disapointment...it was such an obvious test but...Ken just wasn't getting it...all he was doing was trying to overpower and defeat shabuto wasting away his Chakra producing such massive armies..shabuto still wouldn't spell it out for him though. The Strength of his universal guardian was not to me mocked nor taken lightly and so as the massive fist came down it would smash into the ground creating a massive Shockwave that repulsed everything that Ken had down within a 2 and a half block radius he then Sent a massive stream of His Amaterasu Flames through the vast tunnel system which he had saw through his Kamigan. It was not by any special means but the sheer force of the massive beings Power that this had occurred the powerful force like wave would prove more than enough to send Ken flying and potentially gravely wounding him. The insects though that had managed to make it upon the guardian would be instantaneously burned to a crisp from the extreme heat and potency of shabuto's universal Chakra. And the bones it they came would be met by an equal amount of offensive Chakra spikes that nor his universal Chakra dealing with them effectively.

{Your simply not getting it are you....for someone who has such great intellect...you still cannot grasp the simple lessons.}

Ken's pride would be his down fall for because of it he was Blinded to shabuto's true test...the very important lesson that was of universal understanding but...only few could hope to gain. The massive guardian would then vanish upon shabuto's command. If Ken could not open his eyes to the universe and its message than..perhaps it was better that he not be able to open his eyes at all....permanently. Shabuto would display blinding speed now hundreds of feet directly above Ken's new position his body began to emit a powerful and vibrant glow or dense purple and blue energy.The clouds themselves seemed to melt away as Shabuto prepared this justu

{Ken...is your thirst for power so important that...you can't see when your out matched?...do you really think you can Defeat a kage?...such arrogance must be erased from The universe.}

That was shabuto's last and most obvious hint...if Ken couldn't get it through his skull then Shabuto would remove him from this work.

Ken would grin as he realized that this entire test was easy as fuck. Using the Cloud Flame to enhance his grip on the Lytch, Ken would dissapear as him and his loyal follower tunneled underground. There was already a huge tunnel system already there from the already existing Lytches.

"HA! ILL DO MORE THAN SURVIVE!!!!!"

Ken seemed to be loosing his marbles as one would say. But he wouldn't show it. He was already a mile underground so he wouldn't be heard. Stopping in a large Lytch nest, Ken would begin to do handsigns as he used the rest of his useable Chakra. Pouring into Mother Lytch, Ken would grin devilishly. ((Mother Lytch is simply the Lytch that Mass reproduces all the Lytches. >.<))

"..yes.."

Suddenly, out of every exit of the tunnle system, Kikai would erupt. There had to be 5,000. Ken was using them in increments this time. The Kikai would swarm Shabuto's Susano'o-like creature and begin to devour Chakra. But this was just the diversion. Back to the distruction of the Chakra Tree and the Army of 50,000, Shabuto had simply screwed himself. The Kaal have the god given ability of dual reincarnation. Once one is killed, two respawn.

"Go!!!!!"

Ken was in the nest so he wasn't heard at all but the Kaal heard him mentally. Suddenly, an army of 1,000,000 Kaal would storm the battlefield launching sharpened bones reinforced with Ken's final Cloud Flame charge. The bones would pierce anything. Millions of bones would rain down from above as Ken simply sat and waited for his Hybrid to be created.

"..."

That was enough of the test of ability...the second was a test of tactics...which you have also passed...two in one is very admirable...the third... is a secret...the only hint I will give you is...Survive}

With that Shabuto gathered a massive amount of his Cosmic Chakra and it surrounded him his kamigan became hyper active as his universal Chakra Behan to emerge. Suddenly the Chakra formed and manifested around shabuto forming a enormous being of universal energy...this was shabuto's Universal guardian. It was a massive creature the size of a small mountain and its power was Awe inspiring. The massive creature lifted it shining blue arm and with a forceful downward swing it would aim to crush Ken into nothing.

As Ken and his Chakra tree was smashed to the ground, he would slowly stand to his feet as a unusualy large Lytch dug up the ground next to Ken. He would lean on it as he tried not to show any weakness. But he was hurt. He was always the isolated tough guy.

"..I wasn't finished.."

Shabuto's ocular powers were not ones to be mocked for in the instant Ken had created the coccoun his kamigan would allow him to the the ever growing Chakra inside it...

(That will prove troublesome..}

He said as this all happened with the mighty arsenal of attacks and the sheer overwhelming number's of the came forth suddenly Shabuto would raise his hands and with a powerful downward thrust of his hands he released a massive burst of gravitational energy that repulsed and leveled everything within a 1 block radius it was his own makeshift version of the Almighty push technique it smashed everything no doubt it would have hit Ken as well as Shabuto tornado transforming it into a large flat plot of land.

{Ok...that's enough Ken....I have seen enough}

Shabuto said lowering to his position steadily lifting his powerful gravitational field.

Ken would roll his eyes as he "misplaced" the fireball that came at him. Suffering from some simple burns, Ken would simply shake it off. He had a fight to win. As the tornado sucked the debris clean off the field, Shabuto should be able to sence that there was more to this battle then Chakra consumption. He was being played. But he couldn't see it yet. Leaping to another tree, Ken would place his hand on the trunk of the tree as he avoided the tornado. Chakra would begin to surge throughout the tree as he set up a Chakra Cocoon for his Kikai and Intara to mass reproduce.

"..hmpf.."

As the final dust was wiped from the ground, Shabuto would realize that Ken's Plaquespitter were in position all over the surrounding trees. Thousands of them camoflauged into the bark and leafs. Launching explosive green ooze tward Shabuto, The Plaquespitter contribute as Eliet Anti-Air forces. On the other side of the battlefield, The Kaal would begin their rampage as they began to kill themselves. With each death, brought a dark and ominous purple haze. The Cloud Flame yet again. The small 500 Kaal armada would transform into a force that was pushing 50,000 in numbers. Ken would begin to feel abit nautious but he would keep his cool.

Shabuto was indeed impressed at Ken's ability but...he was trying to hard he was wasting his Chakra using such powerful tactics so early on...with even gaugeing shabuto ability. The powerful explosion was a nice touch but within it Shabuto would be covered in a armour of. Black sand shielding him. As it peeled and cracked it a large swirling tornado of sand the vacuum power as well as the turbulence it created were more than enough to catch the creatures in it detouring them form shabuto while in the same rip shredding them to bits.

{Great tactics Ken...but don't over use your power before gauging your opponents strength and abilities}

He said as the sand tornado would clear all the haze and such. Shabuto had no problem sensing them for his Cosmic harmonization allowed him to sense the life of all things within range of him... including Ken who had ignored the large Fireball that Shabuto had fired and so it would smack into his body leaving him with some pretty serious Burns. The tornado raged ripping the ground under it. With but a flick of his wrist it homend in on Ken aiming to reduce him to nothing.

Ken's eyes would glow with joy as Shabuto fell for his master plan. Slowly doing some hand signs, Ken would seem to spit as the slight sound of air leaving his body commanded the Drais to explode. The area would erupt in a massive purple explosion. The Cloud Flame would amplify the C4 sized explosion into a small atom bomb. In the mushroom cloud that the mass amount of Drais created, thousands of Kikai and Intara would swarm inside of the smoke and ashes and invade Shabuto's personal space. Tracking the insects would be virtually impossible for the echo of the explosion and the roar of the flames would dround out the noise and the smoke would create a very thick haze in the atmosphere.

"Soon..."

As this happened Shabuto Smirked Ken was in it for the win it seemed. With the creatures homing in on him Shabuto stood still his hands hidden by his Kage garb. As the insects all converged on that one point shabuto's body would burst into thousands of Golfball sized spiders who were alit with a powerful purple flame. This was shabuto's Cosmic Chakra infused with his flame Chakra as well as imbued with the spiders. Upon colliding they would set the immediate area setting them all alflame. While this happened shabuto would have been in the Sky his kamigan active he signed and released a large Fireball on Ken position. He then began oozing black sand under his garb.

Ken would lean against a tree and raise his eyebrow. Ken didn't really do anything. It was his soldiers and bugs. Lifting his palm upwards to about his mid section, Shabuto would begin to notice that there was another noise in rustling in the forest. Not leaves, not wind, but a slight rumbling.

"..."

Suddenly, about a thousand apple sized creatures would imerge from the shadows the canopy was creating. Not stopping for anything, they would continue to charge at Shabuto. The Drais, small explosive creatures, would begin to hiss and leap twards Shabuto. They seemed to surround him. Ken would shove himself off of the tree and focus some of his Chakra into his hands and feet. Now climbing up the massive tree he was leaning on, Ken would find a smug little branch about a hundred feet off the ground.

"..."

Shabuto walked through the rift and it closed upon his doing so. He was kinda excited to test out the new blood of his village. Ken's test would consist of a few challenges and depending on how effectively he dealt with them shabuto would decide his rank.

Alright Ken...you have three area's that I must see in order to let you through...The first is Fighting ability... This consist of how skill full you wield your abilities...now...feel free to begin when you ready}

After entering Shabuto's rift, Ken would notice he was in the untouched Exam Field. Looking around, Ken wanted to scan the surrounding area before he began. Ken began to get antsy. His whole body was sturing with Kikai and Intara. Ken had to wait for the rest of his army to arrive but he could manage without them for a little while. The Exam Field was surrounded by trees and there was a medium sized clearing where he assumed they were fighting there.
