My Kage.

Knocking on the door of the Kage's Office, Ken would wait with his arms folded.

"..."

Opening the door to see his only resident, Shadow would gesture for Ken to come inside. Sitting down behind his cluttered desk, Shadow would rest his arms on the leather appulstered seat and lean back.

"What can I help you with..?"

Ken would see Shadow and walk in. Taking a seat opposite from Shadow, Ken would raise his eyebrow. He wanted the other Kage.

"I request a rank up."

Still leaning back in his chair, Shadow would look upwards at the ceeling. Shadow was going to make this kid work for his new title.

"Why do you think your ready for a rank up?"

Ken would simply ponder that question for a moment. He truly hungered for power. But he also hungered for the blood of those that stood before him.

Shit, this was the one thing I didn't want to happen..

Ken would stand and lean over the desk with his palms down, resting on the cluttered mess.

"I thirst for power. As do you."

Shadow would place his arms on the desk as he leaned forwards. Looking at Ken, Shadow would examine his Chakra Signature.

"From what I'm seeing, your mind screams for the jounin rank, but your body and chakra pool say otherwise. And by law, I can't rank you up unless you have missions papers."

Shadow would sift through some papers and hand Ken a signed paper with a blank missions form. This was illegal but who really gave a fuck? Shadow was his own man.

Appearing out of a Cosmic with in the middle of the office would be shabuto. He wasn't having this if this kid really screamed jonin he would have to work for it...at least completing a high ranked mission or proving himself in an ranking exam which Shabuto would be happy to give.

{If you wish for this young man to achieve such a prestigious rank than he must prove himself ready for such a thing....charkra isn't everything....I prepose a ranking exam...one I would be happy to give..if he passes he is more than welcome to the jonin rank.}

Shabuto wasn't gonna budge on this subject. If they were truly going to be kage than they must conduct themselves as such. This boy had to earn his keep...and who better than the young kage himself.

Ken would smile sinisterly. Refusing the paper Shadow was handing him, Ken would turn to face Shabuto.

"It's about time you decided to show your face. I have been waiting for days Shabuto. I hear you yourself have prestiged through...illigitimate means. And my Chakra Pool is little to none, but my battle tactics far exceed your comprehension."

Ken's smile would fade as a face filled with rage replaced it. Ken's thirst for power was overwhelming, his genius was unmatched so far. He wanted an elemental fight, so that's what he was going to get.

Now leaning back into his chair, Shadow would crack his neck and wait for Shabuto's reply.

"..."

Well what the boy spoke of was true ...it was do to his father's help that he had obtained both his rank and his power. But should everyone be given the same?...Shabuto said this because people needed to start earning there keep..including shabuto he had a few things in mind to prove his place as kage..and Ken would have to prove himself as well.

Ken would turn his back to Shabuto. Looking over at Shadow, Ken would smile with abit of an evil intent.

"Fine. And don't pretend like there is anyone else that actually shows their usless faces in this world. Lead and I shall follow.."

Shabuto shouldn't underestimate Ken for his rank. Ken would point to the door.

Shadow would look to Shabuto as he leaned back in his chair once more. He would wait for his son's approval or disapproval of the ranking exam. Shadow was going to have to take a rain check as he really wasn't there. He simply cast a genjutsu over the office. He was striking a deal in the Diamond currently.

Shabuto wasn't underestimating Ken's abilities for he had been keeping tabs on his battles and knew the boy possed great skill but. This was a matter of deserving. Ones rank....

With that being said shabuto created a rift that lead to the Ranking field. It was there that shabuto would. Give him his exam.
