Time to get serious Zeke

Voodoo appeared in the center of the city with a serious look face. He needed Zeke to get here fast. It was a matter of life and death for him.

Zeke came into the city with a look of wonder with Ucello behind him. When they finally got to him, Zeke said "What's up Voodoo. I got your message and came here with as fast as I could. What's this all about and why do you look so serious?"

Voodoo turned and said "Prepare to fight for your life! I saw who was gonna kill you and this is the person." Then he waved his wand and someone familiar to him appeared.



It was Chieko or just someone who looks like her. Before Zeke could react, the copy rushed with blinding speed to stab him with her hand.

Zeke was struck with guilt as soon as he saw her. All this time he had forgotten that she was captured by Doku Hebi. He knelt down to accept the attack. Suddendly, Ucello jumped in between them and took the attack in the back. Wincing in pain she looked at Zeke and said "Zeke! What are you doing!? This is your opponent in front of you. Why do you give up on life so easily?"

Zeke hung his head down and said "Its her Ucello. It's Chieko, the one I couldn't protect. I don't deserve to see her. I should just be killed by this copy as pennence." Ucello smacked him with tears in his eyes and replied " Idiot! From what you told me, she needs you! She wants you to come save her! She needs you in her life! I need you in my life! So get up and prove how you can protect the both of us!"

The copy retracted her hand and jumped backwards. Then she said "Gamma Ray v2" as energy charged through her hands.

Voodoo did nothing but watched as he knew what was coming next. Zeke, Ucello I'm sorry, but it looks like your tale will end here with this blast. Guess you weren't meant for greatness.

Seconds later the copy released the devastating blast towards the two. The power and speed of it ripped through the sound barrier. There was little they could do against it.

After the blasts and the dust settled, all that was seen was a crumbling wall of earth. Behind it stood Zeke, badly damaged from the blast, but still standing. "Heh looks like I made the wall in time huh Ucello?" He said quietly to the black blade in his hand. "Now I'll show you my resolve for protecting you two."

He did two handsigns and shouted "Darkness-Style: Devil Pheonix Justu!" and shot out a purple fireball. Then he ran behind it and did three more handsigns. "Darkness-Style: Shadow Neddle Justu." Zeke said as all the shadows from the building shot out thousands of shadow needles. Damn, my body won't last much longer. Plus I've lost a lot of chakra from using that last justu with building shadows. I'll finish this quickly. Zeke thought as he knelt to the ground to catch his breath.

Voodoo stood there starstruck. How did he survive that!? Was it a fluke? No.... it was that.... I see then, good work Zeke. You've may very well prove my foresight wrong. Voodoo thought with a smile.

Meanwhile the copy stood in the middle of the fire twister as if it was nothing. As the needles came, she used her arms to block some of them but the rest pierced her body. Not noticing them, she dashed in front of Zeke and struck her hand forward to strike and pierce the top of his head.

At the last second Zeke dodged to the right and got stabbed in his shoulder. He then took that opprotunity to slice at the arm and stab her in the stomach. "You aren't her. So....on I will.....sa...ve......her....from.......them." Zeke said as pulled the sword out. Doing that was the last of his strength, and he collasped on the ground. Ucello quickly transformed back into human form and knelt down to protect Zeke from whatever the next attack was.

Voodoo started clapping his hands and said "Congrats to the both of you. It seems that you both passed this exam."

Then the copy knelt down next to Zeke's body and whispered "Great work Zeke. I know with my help we will save Chieko." Then she started glowing and transforming. When it was finished, she had became an armband.



Then Voodoo came up to Zeke and waved his hand over him. Instantly all the wounds Zeke recieved were gone. Then he turned towards Ucello and said "Thank you for being here for him. Zeke has been through hell and he may still go through hell, but as long as he have people around him, he'll be ok. Now I know you never met Chieko,but you see how he feels for her. I needed to affirm is will to save her. I had a vision that very soon she was gonna be the one that will kill him and I wanted to prevent that. It may have been wrong to do this today, but it has made him into a stronger person. Now he has ranked up, but this training is far from over. Let him rest and recover, because he has class to go to tomorrow. Also I honestly didn't know the band was gonna test him out like that and I have no clue as of what else it can do. If he wants to know about it he has to ask one of the qwasers in our village to take him to Takeshi, because he's the one that made the band." With that Voodoo teleported them back to their room. After fixing the city with his magic, he vanished away.
