There was once a clan called the Kurai Yuza. They were blessed and cursed with dark chakra. The chakra enabled them to use justus of any element except for light, but each justu had dark attributes no matter what it was. Because and that the clan was under the Shadō kitsune (shadow Fox), other clans were jealous and scared of them. One morning the clans formed together to attack the Kurai Yuza. Since it was the morning the yuza's chakra was weakened by the sun. They were easily overwhelmed by the other clans. Most started to use themselves as decoys, while others tried to hide the children. During the attack Zeke as a young boy was confused as to what was happening outside. Just then his parents and older brother rushed in and got ready for battle. His mom smiled and told him to hide from the mean people in the closet. He nodded and went into the closet hiding in side under the clothes. A few minutes later he heard yelling, fighting and blades clashing. He wanted to see, but something in the pack of his mind told him not to go out there. He heard his father yell and blades cutting into flesh. Soon it was silent for a while and suddenly a blade struck through the door almost cutting his face. When the blade was pulled out he heard his mother laugh and someone else yelled in anger. A second later she fell silent and Zeke wanted to cry but he was scared to do it. From the hole the sword made in the closet he slowly crawled to watch what was happening. His left hand bumped against a strange looking katana with a seal over the scabbard. He grabbed it and looked out the hole to see the bloody bodies of his parents on the floor. He looked to the middle of the house to see two guys holding his brother by his arms and a third person behind him. The person behind him stabbed his brother through the middle of his chest. He started to cough up blood and looked at the closet. Zeke and his brother eyes met and his brother smirked and slowly started to mutter something. Before he could finish, he was stabbed in the back of the head. They dropped the body and left the house. Zeke stood there in the closet staring at the bodies of his family with tears slowly falling out of his eyes. As the day went to night, Zeke went throughout the village to seach for other people, but he found nobody. As he sat there under the moon crying, he felt a hand stroking his head to calm him down. Zeke looked up and saw woman with fox-like features and a five beautiful long black fox tails. She smiled and waved her hand over him to clean up his face. As she looked at him and he heard a woman voice in his head.

The voice said "You have been through so much little one. Its a shame my master couldn't help you or my people. I know it not much child, but I shall guide you away from here and watch over you as much as I can."

Zeke then wiped away his tears and went to his house and packed up all his clothes and a few of the weapons he found. When he went back to the lady she had the strange katana from earlier in her hands. As she gave it to the boy animals from the woods started to come near the boy. The woman walked to the bear and patted his head and pointed to Zeke. The bear nodded and walked up to him and grabbed the back of his shirt with its teeth. The bear took Zeke with him and the other animals followed the bear.

When they were close to the woods the woman did handsigns and said "Moon style: Memory block justu. There now you won't ever have to remember this painful experience Zeke until the time you are ready for it. The rest of your life is for you to live now. I pray that when you do remember this you won't live for revenge."

Just as she finished, the woman disappeared with a gust of wind. Zeke blinked and looked around while he was sitting on a stump. He followed his gut and started to live with the animals around him. For ten years Zeke and the animals traveled around the world with him learning new and different things and justus. Now at seventeen he started to travel to the Village of Darkness.

As he was near the edge of the village, he grabbed the strange katana off his back and said "This looks like a place for a new aventure. Maybe now I can find out how to unlock this seal and maybe find out who I really am. I wonder if any of his family is here."

Thus begins the story of Zeke......
