Pay Raise. [Part 1]

Ken would catch the ring with ease as Shadow dissappeared. Looking at it, Ken would slide it onto his left index finger. His Path of Darkness was next to his Darkness Ring. A thought would bolt through Ken's mind.

I'm becoming the Lord of Darkness..

-I wonder what kinds of damage I can do with both of these bad boys..?-

Ken would walk off of the porch and onto the ground before the Manor. Within a second, Ken would fall into a tunnel and land on his feet. He would look to his right and see his loyal army of Kaal. Pointing upwards, Ken would begin to walk down a long tunnel as the hole he fell through would close. There was nothing but Darkness.

<Shadow would meet Ken's glance and see his glistening black ring. How..? What Shadow had knew about Ken already was that he was a prodigy of sorts and a tactition. He had jumped from Genin rank to Jounin rank in a matter of weeks. Ken was thirsty for power, like himself. Shadow would pull from his pocket an Elysium Ring and toss it towards Ken.>

"I wasn't asking. This is the Path of Darkness. Use it with an iron fist."

<With that, Shadow would seem to dissappear in a twist of dimensional alteration.>

Ken would raise an eyebrow at what Shadow had just said. An S Ranked Elysium Ring, Ken had read about these. They were the definition of power. He would look over to Shadow.

-I have my own Chaos Ring.. Thanks but no thanks. What kinds of tasks do you have for me? You better not leave me with another Proctor Task.. That kid was fucking weird..-

<Shadow would look at the headband. He figured it was time for Ken to become his right hand man. Picking the headband up and holding it in his hands, Shadow would stare at it as it began to melt in his hands.>

"Fine.. You will become the first Anbu of Elysium Castle. Therefore, you will be doing numerous missions for me.. As an Anbu, your reward for reaching this prestigious title, you will be given an S Rank Elysium Ring."

Ken would look towards Shadow as he pulled his Jounin headband from a small cloud of Kikaichū floating next to him. He would toss it on the ground before Shadow.

-I require a higher, better rank than that. And you will give it to me.-

<Shadow would put his hands in his cloak. He would look upwards in the night sky. The stars were so beautiful here, hundreds of miles from other civilization.>

"What is it that you want Ken..?"

Ken would roll his eyes. Shadow always caught him when he was trying to do survalence. Snapping his fingers, the Kikaichū would exit Shadow's home with the same haste they had to get in.

-I know. I felt like switching it up.-

<Shadow would raise an eyebrow as Ken intruded his home..again. OF course, no one was there to actually stop him. Shadow practically lived in his office in the Beacon Tower, and his son Shabuto was on leave. Cracking his neck before departing his office, Shadow would simply dissappear in a twist of energy. His desk would warp in all directions, then contract to return back to normal after he was gone. Materializing a few feet away from Ken, Shadow could feel the presence of massive amounts of Chakra beneath him. His eyes allowed him to see the entire tunnel system miles beneath them, in the earth's crust.>

You know I am never here, Ken.. And get those fucking bugs out of my house..

Ken would approach the Uchiha's Cradle with his hands in his pockets. His hair was getting long, long enough to cover his eyes as he walked the long path to the front door. Brushing some of the hair out of his face, Ken would pull a golden coin from his right pocket and begin to flip it, then catch it. He would repeat this process untill he got to the front door. When Ken got there, he wouldn't knock, or even make a sound. Ken would do nothing but lean against the wall near a window. Ken would send about 12 Kikai into the domain to survey the area.
